My progress on this years Edison Project has really ramped up. I have ticked off five new items this month, and there are more to come. The latest item was to have a tarot card reading. This is probably one of the more outlandish items I had on this years list.

The idea to attend a card reading was inspired by my girlfriend. She had her own reading a few years ago following some gentle persuasion from a friend. My stance on clairvoyance was extremely sceptical at this point. I felt there was logistical reasoning behind any fortune a clairvoyant may tell, or that the readings were so generalised that anyone would be able to find some alignment. However, the events that followed my girlfriends reading have proven to be scarily accurate.

The polar opposite viewpoints between me and my girlfriend towards tarot card readings got me thinking that it was an obvious experience to add to my Edison Project. My girlfriend certainly agreed as a tarot card reading was what she got me for my birthday this year.

My reading took place on a Saturday with the same reader that Hana had attended. Her name was Angela Jordan (get in touch if you would like her contact details) and she welcomed me into her beautiful home for the reading. Angela began the session by making it clear that this reading was for entertainment purposes (this disclosure is now required by law) and that she was a clairvoyant that used the tarot cards to help her navigate. This was something I was unaware of. I had believed the cards told the fortunes.

From here Angela began to navigate the cards and to declare my fortunes past, present and future. I am not going to share the details of my own reading as some aspects are extremely personal, but what surprised me most was the level of detail and accuracy that she was able to go into. She recounted aspects of my life that only a handful of those closest to me will of been aware of. There were also times where she delved into the future. The only area of contention was the fact that she wheeled off a host of names that meant nothing to me at that point.Only time will tell.

If a tarot reading is something that interests you, then find a local clairvoyant through friends or family. There are a lot of fraudsters, so hopefully your friends and family can vouch for a good one near to you. Be sure to attend any reading with a open mind otherwise you will not get anything out of it. Whilst I was initially sceptical of such clairvoyant practices, I am now a convert and will certainly be giving it a go again.

That is it for this item, but keep an eye open for the next item to be ticked off. I have a few really exciting activities in the pipeline.
