If you want a fun day out, then head to the Tower of London. Completing my last Edison Project item got me thinking when and what would I be ticking off next. Nothing at the time was immediately on the horizon. This concerned me, so I decided to plan a number of items to be ticked off. The first of which was to visit the Tower of London.

Visiting the Tower of London has been on my agenda for a number of years. It is one of my favourite London monuments. Last weekend, I finally ticked this one off. Having booked tickets in advance, me and my girlfriend headed into the city and joined a Yeoman Warder tour of the tower. This is something I would suggest everyone do on a visit to the tower. Not only do they provide you with lots of information and facts, but they do it with a lot of humour and make it a fun experience. Once the tour finished we explored the rest of the exhibits including the Crown Jewels. This was the most arduous part of the day as there was a lot of queueing, but no visit to the Tower of London is complete without seeing the Crown Jewels.

I normally like to end my posts with a joke, but there is a Yeoman Warder who does comedy a lot better than myself – check out the following clip I came across a few years back.
