I’m not a gold medallist, but I have completed the London 2012 rafting course. A large group of us attended the Lee Valley White Water Centre on 12th September, 2014. It was the first time I have visited the centre, despite living so close by, but I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed it.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and one I highly recommend. I am not too sure of the costs (it was a work event), but get a large group of friends and family, and give it a go. My only warning is that you will fall out of the raft at some point or other, and you will be shouted at.
