The term bucket list derives from the kicking of the bucket during medieval executions. It is something commonly associated with death, but in reality it is a set of life goals.

“Bucket List – A number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime.”

It is with this focus that I have developed an annual list of 100 items that I will attempt to tackle throughout the year. For want of a better name, I have decided to call this The Edison Project. It is a way for me to continuously challenge and improve myself through experiences. It is highly improbable that I will complete all 100 items within a year. Therefore I will replenish the list each year.

Whilst I appreciate my experiences may mean nothing to others, I will power through and document my progress as and when I complete a new item. I don’t have an end goal in mind, but I hope it goes some way to inspiring others to push themselves further.

So here it is, the full 100 bucket list for 2014.
